What is URBCON Sustainable Concrete?
URBCON (Urban Concrete) is a European Union–funded project that develops sustainable concrete using 100% by-product aggregates and low-clinker binders. The goal is to reduce the construction sector’s CO₂ emissions by at least 30%, save natural resources, and make concrete production more circular.
FDN Group joined the URBCON consortium as engineering expert, contributing to the design and testing of new concrete mixtures for urban infrastructure and buildings.
