Grateful for 2025! 🙏

In the year 2000, we started FDN Engineering in an attic in Amsterdam. With just one employee—and a stack of tax handbooks that urgently needed studying first.

After a few small assignments, things quickly became serious. And now, 25 years later, we look back with pride and gratitude on an impressive journey. We have had the privilege of contributing to outstanding projects such as the HSL high-speed rail line, numerous infrastructure projects in Amsterdam, and the seismic strengthening of Groningen. We also embraced innovative challenges, including floating breakwaters for port construction, UHPC bridges, and even UHPC sluice lock gates.

We are grateful to our clients: 98% satisfied and 2% who kept us sharp—and for whom we carefully corrected the work. Because that, too, is part of the job.

Our projects have taken us all over the world: from Greece to Norway, from Saudi Arabia to South Korea, and from Ghana to Malta, the United States, and Indonesia.

A special word of thanks goes to all the engineers who have worked for FDN over the years (and who still do!). Some have been with us for 25 years, while others continue to work with us even after retirement.
